In 2004, Carly and Mike Kuntz embarked on a  journey to explore, research and ultimately improve the spa services industry. We have created a new spa experience that takes the day spa industry to a new level of service and quality. Introducing The Waters ~ An Urban Spa Retreat.
 
Carly Kuntz, a certified Spa Director, M.B.A., mother of twins, and former marketing executive with a skilled attention to detail that redefines the word, is owner and Chief Relaxation Officer (CRO). Carly's vision for the spa began a decade ago when she realized there was a level of service lacking in the day spa industry and was determined to bring a high end "resort experience" to the day spa setting.
 
The Kuntz family has strong entrepreneurial roots in the community. Mike's great grandfather founded Kuntz Brewery in 1844 - just 2 blocks away from where The Waters stands today. Established in 1948, Kuntz Electroplating Inc. is one of Kitchener's biggest employers where  Mike is a Vice President of Operations.
